Come put your favorite beverage to the test in an Epic Seafood Pairing Battle of BEER V. SPIRITS!

Led by two of the best in the industry, this FIVE ROUND battle pairs both a beer and a cocktail with seafood bites from Hank’s Oyster Bar’s menu. Join Bill Butcher of Port City Brewing Company and Catoctin Creek’s Mary Andrew at Hank’s Old Town on Sunday, February 4 for this epic beverage showdown.

Second Floor Session: Seascape Watercoloring Class

Experience an immersion into the world of watercolors with watercolorist and food illustrator, Marcella Kriebel, and discover the art of watercolor painting at Hank’s Old Town on Tuesday, March 26 from 6-8:15pm.

Attendees will be provided with original artwork inspired by seafood and designed by Marcella to watercolor, allowing you to bring your own masterpiece to life. Your ticket includes a welcome reception with a cocktail and small bites and all the necessary art supplies for the session.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase à la carte while you watercolor — or join us for dinner after the event!

The welcome reception starts promptly at 6pm, and the class begins at 6:20pm.

Celebrate the return of our Hank’s-style Feast of the Seven Fishes served throughout December at $78 per person:

COURSE 1: Cobia Crudo with Sturgeon caviar, salmon roe, and an orange-jalapeño marinade

COURSE 2: Seafood Chowder featuring scallops, shrimp, and cod

COURSE 3: Lobster Wellington accompanied by leek confit, mushroom duxelles, broccolini, and fennel-potato purée

This special menu is available from December 1-24, exclusively for dine-in at all Hank’s Oyster Bars. Dishes are also available a la carte.

Looking to add some seafood flair to your Thanksgiving feast? We’re offering our classic Hank’s sides and raw bar favorites for pickup on Wednesday, November 22 at all Hank’s Oyster Bar locations. Think Salty Wolfe Oysters (shucked or unshucked), Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Eastern Shore Crab Dip, Collard Greens, and much more. All you have to worry about is the turkey! Items come cold with reheating instructions as needed.

Angry Bao Popup

Calling all bao enthusiasts and food lovers! Get ready for a mouthwatering experience as we team up with our friends, Angry Bao, to host a bao-making popup event at Hank’s Dupont Circle on Monday, October 23.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a shot of soju and shishito pepper snacks. Take a seat and watch as Angry Bao Chef Steve Kim demonstrates the art of crafting the perfect bao. Following the demo, we will provide you with bao dough to roll and shape to perfection. While your creations are left to proof, we will conduct a session on crafting creole remoulade, ensuring you leave with a delectable souvenir. The kitchen will stuff your bao with fillings — and as they steam to perfection, immerse yourself in a captivating history lesson on soju and relish a refreshing soju highball. Finally, enjoy two baos — your choice of mushroom, fried oyster, or fried chicken!

Once the bao-making class concludes, we invite you to stay for dinner.
